Constraints
Section titled “Constraints”- Only issues adopted or imported from an existing same-repository GitHub issue are eligible; Shipper-created and PR-adopted work items are refused.
- The command runs on first invocation with no confirmation, force, override, or skip-checks option.
- Running stages, queued workflow commands, and open linked pull requests are refused with an actionable remedy.
- Owned worktrees and local/remote branches are removed before detachment. Partial cleanup reports every outcome and keeps the target managed when possible.
- Mirror-on removes every case variant of
shipper:labels while preserving the GitHub issue body, comments, assignee, unrelated labels, and open-or-closed state. Store-only makes no GitHub write. - Mirror-on dependents remain blocked through a strict GitHub-issue blocker conversion. Store-only refuses until each dependent blocker is removed or replaced.
- The local snapshot, complete event history, origin provenance, and tombstone are absent after success. Refresh and reconciliation do not restore or report the issue.
- A repeat invocation fails as not managed. A later explicit or bulk adoption creates a fresh Shipper ID and history.
