Preview or confirm termination of the exact reviewed issue worker and descendants. Omit confirmation_token for the non-mutating preview; confirmation is destructive and holder-bound.

When to use

Section titled “When to use”

Use only after graceful Stop is unavailable. A tokenless call is a non-mutating preview; confirmation is bound to the exact reviewed holder and succeeds only after its process tree is gone and ownership is released. Partial working changes are preserved for inspection.

Behavior hints

  • destructiveHint: true — The tool can remove or rewrite workflow artifacts and should be used carefully.

Error modes

Section titled “Error modes”
  • Holder changed: No signal is sent and a fresh preview is required.
  • Unsafe or non-worker holder: No token is issued; use Resume, graceful Stop, unlock, or the owning surface as directed.
  • Terminal cleanup failure: Success is not reported while a reviewed process or exact ownership survives.
