CodeWhen
0Shipper creates the issue from a validated agent draft.
1Preflight, draft validation, GitHub issue creation, worktree setup, hooks, or agent execution fails.
  • —disable-mcp and —enable-mcp are mutually exclusive
  • The validated draft is written to the local issue-state store before Shipper creates the GitHub mirror.
  • The local store keeps the full issue body; GitHub receives the size-fitted mirror copy when needed.
  • assignMirroredIssuesToSelf defaults to false and follows ordinary user-global, repository, and personal precedence. When enabled in mirror-on mode, Shipper additively assigns the current GitHub account to the newly created intake mirror without replacing existing assignees.
  • Assignment is best-effort and write-once: failure returns an issue-specific warning without failing issue creation, store-only mode performs no assignment, and later commands or reconcile runs do not maintain or retry the assignee.
  • Troubleshooting: local issue-state content or mirror drift
  • On macOS, New is qualifying progress-capable work and automatically prevents idle system sleep. See Keep the Mac awake during active work.
