Exit Codes

Code	When
0	The verified switch is saved, including accepted effort warnings.
1	The switch is rejected, verification is unavailable, or options are invalid.

Constraints

• Exactly one of —user, —repo, or —personal is required.
• —model conflicts with —clear-model; —reasoning-effort conflicts with —clear-reasoning-effort.
• Omitted model and effort retain their existing resolved behavior, including inheritance; clear removes only the selected layer value.
• The requested default or stage and every affected stage are verified under one 30-second overall deadline.
• A rejected or unavailable combination saves none of the proposed switch edits. Accepted unconfirmed effort warnings do not block saving.
