shipper repo relocate <retained-key> ./existing-checkout --json

Select a missing local source path and an existing same-repository checkout.

Terminal window
shipper repo relocate "/missing/local checkout" ./existing-checkout
CodeWhen
0The alias replacement committed, including any reporting warnings.
1Source, identity, destination or atomic write is refused; refresh repo list before retrying a stale source.
  • Requires an exact retained key or local source path, never bare owner/name. Accepts dirty primary checkouts and subdirectories; rejects bare repositories and linked worktrees. Verifies identity without moving files, fetching or cloning. Preserves issue content, run history, Auto-ship and Auto-merge choices. Does not start a host or enable Auto-ship. A retry after success refuses the stale source: refresh membership. Explicit relocation advances supported predecessor registries losslessly to existing version 4. Protected df2234313 builds refuse that format before decoding or mutation; passive reads do not advance formats. No protection is promised for pre-S#645 builds.
